Maverick Festival 2009 - a fantastic boutique festival in the heart of
rural Suffolk
July 3rd/4th/5th at Easton Farm Park

The Maverick Festival is now in it's second year and with an eclectic mix
of music, dance and film across four stages, we know that you are going to
love it. We have some very exciting acts who have been flown in from the
US, Canada and South Africa just for your enjoyment.

Performing live we are proud to present:
Eve Selis - the Californian queen of roadhouse rock, described by Bob
Harris as 'the best live live show he's seen in the UK'
Al Perkins - a steel guitar legend, who has played with artists including
Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris and The Rolling Stones
Groanbox - a North American trio and a roots band who play with all the
guts of rock and roll and the soul of the wandering troubadour
Plus many more...... check out the website for details of all the artists
at www.maverickfestival.co.uk or share the experience by visiting
www.youtube.com/user/MaverickFestival

This year we also have the Tenderfoot stage which is showcasing music from
our talented local children, authentic Hawaiian folksongs and Hula
dancing, and of course the Young Zulu Warriors Gospel Choir who will be
leading a foot-stomping brunch on the Sunday.

We have great local food to fuel the fire including a traditional Hog
roast, Fish and Chips, Caribbean cuisine, Suffolk Meadow ice-cream and of
course some something to wash it all down, gourmet coffee from Scott and
Paddy, Real Ale such as Earl Soham Victoria and Brewers Gold, Calvors
Lager and Aspalls Cider.

Maverick is a unique experience with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere
making it perfect for first time festival goers. It is held within the
grounds of Easton Farm Park (www.eastonfarmpark.co.uk), a truly beautiful
setting whose wild meadow campsite is nestled on the banks of the river
Deben.

How do you fancy spending the weekend in a traditional North American
Tepee????

Well, we have one up for grabs as we know that glamorous camping(or
glamping) is all the rage. All you have to do is quote 'Tepee' when you
buy your ticket and you will automatically be entered into our prize draw.
We will let the lucky winner know about a week before the Festival so you
won't have to dust off your tent after all.

Tickets are £50 camping/£35 non-camping/£7 for 10-15 year olds and under
10's are free.
These are available online from www.ticketweb.co.uk or by calling Norwich
Arts Centre 01603 660352 - don't forget to quote Tepee

We hope to see you all there for some rootin' tootin' fun.

Best wishes and good luck
Kathy and the Maverick Team

"Maverick was great. Chilled, friendly atmosphere, great music,
mixture of ages. I'll be there" Libby Purves
