Having watched a documentary about His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, I was struck by his contagious happiness that seemed so prevelant throughout the film. I wanted to write a song that tried to capture the nature of his positive outlook on life and hope that others will feel some of that same joy when they listen to this song.
