First record bought in person, the Beatles' 'Long Tall Sally' EP, aged 8. First album bought in person was, I think, 'Cliff Richard Live at the Talk of the Town', but I no longer own that one, so I can't be sure. Or it might have been one of the 'Hot Hits' compilations.

First gig, the Pink Floyd at Liverpool Empire, 1972, tour where they performed an embryonic 'Dark Side of the Moon'.
